Šidlauskas Marijus
Marijus Šidlauskas – literary scholar and critic, translator.
He was born 1 May, 1953 in Pagėgiai, Šilutė district.
He finished 1st Secondary school in Šilutė and in 1976 he finished his studies of English philology at Vilnius University. After his studies he moved to Klaipėda and was a teacher in 22nd Secondary school (1976-1985) and from 1985 he gave lectures on English language and Lithuanian literature at Lithuanian Conservatoire, Klaipėda faculty. He got his PhD degree in 1993.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2011.
