Rubavičius Vytautas
Vytautas Rubavičius – poet, literary critic.
He was born 15 July, 1952 in Klaipėda.
In 1975 he finished his studies of astrophysics at Vilnius University. He worked at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law. He also was an editor of magazine “Moklas ir gyvenimas” and an editor in chief of “Literatūra ir menas”. From 1999 he worked at Institute of Culture and Art. He got his degree of Doctor of Philosophy after defending his thesis in 2001. His poetry has been included into various collections and anthologies as well as almanacks.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 1981.
