Molytė-Lukauskienė Daiva
Daiva Molytė-Lukauskienė – poetess.
She was born 9 October, 1967 in Valkininkai, Varėna district.
In 1985 she finished 2nd Secondary school in Varėna and after that she finished her studies at S. Žukas Technicum of Arts and Crafts in Kaunas, where she acquired a specialty of artistic design. She worked as an artist at Maironis Museum of Literature in Kaunas. She got her Master’s degree in 2001. She had several exhibitions of paintings, participated in various projects of artists and poets. She worked as a reporter at daily newspaper “Klaipėda”. Her poetry has been translated into Belorussian, Polish, Russian and German languages, and also included in various almanacks and collections as well as published in cultural press. She was a member of the Lithuanian Writers’ Union, Kaunas section board in 2012-2015.
