Jazukevičiūtė Dalia
Dalia Jazukevičiūtė – poetess, prose writer.
She was born 7 June, 1952 in Pageležiai, Ukmergė district.
From 1969 till 1974 she studied Lithuanian language and literature at Vilnius University. During the years of 1979-1989 she lived in Drogobich (Ukrain) where she worked at the archives, wrote and published poetry. From 1990 she worked in the field of journalism. She was an editor and journalist at “Respublika” newspaper. She was special reporter at “Lietuvos žinios”. She worked as an editor at “Laiko balsas” and “Veidas” editorial offices.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 1999.

2004 The Church Chronicle Foundation award for journalistic work.
2007 Salomėja Nėris literary award for poetry book “Imperijos moteris”.
