Isajevas Sergejus
Sergejus Isajevas (pseudonym: Clandestinus) – translator, poet, prose writer.
He was born 2 May, 1973 in Klaipėda.
He has finished M. Gorky school and special English courses at LCC International University, philosophy at Seminary of Vilnius for Catholics. Also he studied Christian theology in France, Islamic Law and Sharia in Lebanon. He was a monk for approximately 8 years. For two years he worked as a teacher in Vilnius Education Center for Mentally Challenged Children. In 2004 he was an editor at daily newspaper “Klaipėda”, in 2005 he worked as an editor in chief of monthly “Žodis” and in 2008 he was an editor in chief of weekly newspaper “Krantinė – Klaipėda”. He was the founder of literary fellowship and publishing house “Ars Magna” in 2003. He translates Lithuanian authors into Russian language and he also translates from English, Russian, German and other languages. He is a member of Russian Writers’ Fellowship in Germany, Russian Writers’ Union, International S. Dach Community, International K. Donelaitis Community of Literates and Historians, Lithuanian Journalist Union, Union of Art. He is the head of Lithuanian Department of Russian Writers’ Union.
A member of Lithuanian Writers’ Union since 2006.
