Žilinskaitė Vytautė

Vytautė Žilinskaitė – prose writer.
She was born 13 December, 1930 in Kaunas.
In 1950 she graduated from Vilnius S. Nėris Secondary school. In 1950-1955 she studied journalism at Vilnius University and from 1955 till 1966 she worked at editorial office of magazine “Jaunimo gretos”, where she became the head of literature section. Her works has been translated into English, German, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Russian, Bulgarian, Portuguese, Moldavian, Hungarian, Latvian and other languages.
A member of Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1963.
