Klusas Rimantas

Rimantas Petras Klusas – poet.
He was born 28 November, 1936 in Puodžiai, Raseiniai district.
He graduated from Kaunas Gardening Technikum and studied Lithuanian literature at Šiauliai and Vilnius Pedagogical Institutes, but he did not graduate because of his trauma. He worked as a senior engineer at Institute of Cardiology. From 1993 he worked as a reporter for newspaper “Ūkininko patarėjas” and in its supplement “Mūsų sodyba” and was also an editor of a humorous page on weekends. His poetry has been published in various almanacks, collections and cultural press.
A member of Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1989.
