Girdzijauskaitė Audronė

Audronė Girdzijauskaitė – prose writer, theater and art critic.
She was born 18 March, 1938 in Kaunas.
In 1963 she finished her studies at A. Lunacharsky State Institute for Theater Arts in Moscow. From 1964 till 1973 she worked at History Institute, in Art Research department. In 1972-1973 she gave lectures on Theater history at Vilnius University. In 1983-1988 she worked at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater in Laboratory of music theory. From 1988 till 1990 she worked at Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law. Since 1990 she worked at Institute of Culture, Art and Philosophy. From 1995 she gives lectures at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
A member of Lithuanian Writers' Union since 2012.
