Flick Rokas

Rokas Flick (till 1989 – Rokas Alvydas Liaukonis) – prose writer, essayist.
He was born 16 August, 1936 in Veisiejai.
He finished 1st Secondary school in Šilutė. In 1959 he finished Archeology studies at Vilnius University and in 1966 – Industrial Economics. From 1970 till 1974 he worked at I. Gubkin Oil and Gas Industry Institution in Moscow. He defended his thesis there and in 1984 he got his Doctor's degree of Economic Sciences. From 1986 till 1990 he gave lectures at Vilnius Construction Institute (from 1987 – as a professor.). In 1990-1991 he was a deputy of minister of Energetics. From 1995 he is the owner and head of R. Flick company in Klaipėda. A member of LTMA since 2009.
A member of Lithuanian Writers' Unions since 2014.
