Astas Vydas

Vydas Astas (real name: Tautvydas Galinis) – prose writer.
He was born on 19 October, 1948 in Vilnius.
In 1972 he graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Vilnius University and worked as an engineer. He writes different prose: short stories, novellas, novels. He lives in Birštonas.
A member of Lithuanian Writers' Union since 1981.
